How it’s worked out
- MP2 runs for 5 years. Its dividend is declared each year from Pag-IBIG’s earnings, so future rates can be higher or lower.
- Money saved during a year earns for the months it was in: a deposit in January earns the whole year, one in December about a month.
- Kept in, each year’s dividend is added to your savings and earns too. Paid out yearly, it goes to your bank account instead.
- MP2 dividends are tax-free.
Rates as of October 2026. These are estimates for an ordinary employee, not tax or legal advice; your payslip and the agencies have the final word.
