Privacy policy

In short: Cashwise keeps only what you type in, uses it only to run the app for you, never connects to your bank, never sells anything, and erases it all when you delete your account.
Who we are
Cashwise is a budgeting app made by Khayll Labs in the Philippines, on the web at app.cashwise.khayll-labs.com and on Android. Khayll Labs is responsible for the personal information described here. Questions go to support@cashwise.khayll-labs.com.
What we collect
Only what you give us, to run the app for you:
- Your account: your email address and password. The password is stored hashed; nobody can read it.
- What you enter: your budget, salary and paydays, bills and payments, expenses, accounts and balances, transfers, savings goals, categories and settings.
- If you turn on reminders: the address your phone or browser gives us to deliver notifications, and your device’s name.
- Technical logs kept by our hosting providers for security and troubleshooting, such as IP addresses and error reports, kept for a short time.
Cashwise does not connect to your bank, e-wallet, email or SMS, does not use your location or contacts, and has no advertising or analytics trackers.
How it’s used
To show you your own numbers, to keep your data in sync between your devices, to send the sign-in emails and reminders you asked for, and to keep the service secure. We don’t profile you, show you ads, or use your data to train anything.
Where it’s kept
In a database run by Supabase in Sydney, Australia. Connections are encrypted, and the database enforces that each row can only be read or changed by the account that owns it. Offline expenses on Android wait on your phone until they’re sent.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, your data is erased from the database straight away; backups age out within 30 days.
Deleting your data
In the app, go to Settings → Delete account. Your account and everything in it are erased. Can’t sign in? Email support@cashwise.khayll-labs.com from your account’s address. More on deleting your account.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) you may be informed about, access, correct, object to the processing of, and ask us to erase or give you a copy of your personal data. Most of this you can do in the app; for anything else, email support@cashwise.khayll-labs.com. You may also complain to the National Privacy Commission.
Children
Cashwise is not meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has an account, email us and we’ll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll update the date above and tell you in the app before it takes effect.
